Supreme Commander Sartosis leads the Gray Alliance ground units. He comes from a malevolent star system where the fallen Powers reside. In the ancient war between the Powers and the Virtues, his race, the Enoguls, sided with the Powers who ultimately lost the war.

As a punishment, the Virtues imprisoned the royals of the Enoguls of Gelena. Sartosis escaped only after a treacherous battle where he defeated two of the great Powers using his NiFe armor and his elemental blade powered by the core of the star, Gelena. His alliance with Temeluchus came as a strategic move to both defeat the Powers and to establish his race as superior in the cosmos.
